"The trauma-informed workshops Carlee led for our staff who support youth throughout the Bay Area and more specifically Oakland was refreshing, uncomfortable yet safe and enlightening. We were able to gain language and context related to Trauma and understand how to most authentically show up for our young people.
The workshops provided some clinical research and data to support our learning as well as many engaging activities allowing us to think, share and reflect. We all left the training with tools we continue to use to support each other and the students we work with in our school based after school programs.
